Bobbi Block is an experiential Facilitator and Coach with a unique background in both training and the performing arts, specializing in Relationship Management, Collaboration, Leadership, Presence, Creativity and Presentation Skills Development.  In addition to her consulting work, Bobbi works as Independent Faculty for The Wharton School’s Executive Education Institution.   She is also a Senior Affiliate with The Ariel Group, a firm with global reach that uses best practices from actor training to develop executives’ Leadership Presence. Also, Bobbi is a Lead Facilitator for the training firm Performance of a Lifetime, a Designer and Instructor for the leadership program

Work.Life.Leader,   and worked as a Human Strategy consultant with Bracken
Leadership.   Bobbi teaches and performs Improvisational Theatre in Philadelphia
and is an Adjunct Professor in the Theatre Department at Temple University
and Drexel University.

Bobbi began her training career twenty years ago by teaching teambuilding and
collaboration skills to corporate and nonprofit organizations utilizing
improvisational theatre techniques she acquired through producing, performing
and teaching with CSz Philadelphia, where she continues as the​ Director of Applied Improvisation Programs​Bobbi then worked with Training and Development firm Team Builders Plus, where she worked extensively with communication assesment tools including DISC. 

Bobbi received two Bachelor's degrees from the
University of Pennsylvania, one in English and one in Development through Creative Expression.  She received a Masters degree in Theatre from Villanova University, and trained with master improvisers at renowned theater centers in Chicago and NYC.
 
In addition to co-founding and performing with Barrymore Award recipient
ComedySportz Philadelphia for 20 years, Bobbi founded and is the Producing Artistic Director of critically-acclaimed unscripted theater company, Tongue & Groove Spontaneous Theater.  She is a founding member of the popular longform improv group,  LunchLady Doris, and performed with Playback Philadelphia.  Bobbi co-founded and performed with the body percussion troupe People Percussion Project, and plays drums in the Brazilian percussion band Unidos da Filadelfia.   Prior to her current role, Bobbi worked extensively on theatre education initiatives with Philadelphia Young Playwrights, from whom she received the Adele Magner Memorial Award for excellence in Collaborative Teaching.  In addition to her current appointments at Temple and Drexel, Bobbi has taught Improvisation at numerous theatres and colleges including The University of the Arts, The Wilma Theatre, University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, Villanova University, and The University of Otago in New Zealand.  Bobbi has traveled throughout New Zealand, Australia and Europe directing unscripted theater and teaching her signature Actors' Improv™ technique.
